To help you choose the best font for your room, we've put together a guide to show you the differences between 2 of the font styles avaibable. In the above image you can see the Funky & Kiddie font styles. These have both been done in the Jumbo size (15cm in height). You can see that depending on the font style you'll get different results, with the Kiddie font giving you a wider letter style. You'll also notice in the Funky font style that Grace appears to be quite a bit smaller than David, even thought they are actually both 15cm high. The reason for this is due to the descender (the part of the letter than hangs under the rest) on the G in Grace. As there is no letters in David that hang underneath, this name appears larger. If you want to make sure that all of your children's names are similar in size, please keep an eye on the descenders, which you can avoid by using capital letters or avoiding certain fonts. Alternatively if you type both children's names in the one preview, this will be done as a whole name and will be resized so both will be exactly the same. If you have any questions about this please contact us and we'll be able to offer advise. |
