How to Use the Label Maker

How do I find the Label Maker?

When you are in any of the personalised Label product pages, you’ll see the button Make My Labels. Simply click on this button and it will bring you to Bright Star Kids Label Maker.

Is it free to use the Label Maker?

Yes, it’s 100% free. Bright Star Kids have created this Label Maker to give you a really fun and enjoyable experience in making labels to suit your style and needs.

Can I see how my labels will look before I buy?

Yes, a preview of your label will appear at the top of the screen and will change automatically once you begin to add your details (see below).

How do I use the Label Maker?

It’s really easy:
STEP 1: Simply type your text. You can also add a second line to most of the labels (great for including a phone number).
STEP 2: Choose your favourite colour.

Optional Extras
STEP 3: If your label has space for an icon, you’ll also be able to browse through our great range of icons. See below for more instructions. If you don’t need an icon, simply click on the No Icon button.

Special Characters: If your child's name has an international character, e.g. ë in Zoë then click the box that says I want to insert a special character. This will bring up a little box that you can click to see all of the special characters that you can insert. You can choose from Spanish, French and other symbols.

How do I add my completed label to my Shopping Cart?

Once you’re happy with how your labels will look (remember to double check the spelling), then simply click on the Add To Cart button or Add to Wishlist. This will then bring up another screen that will give you more options, including making the same label for a different name, choosing a related product or finishing and going to the shopping cart.

How do I browse through the icons?

It’s really easy to see all of our icons. Simply click on the top tabs, e.g. Girls, Boys, Allergy, etc. This will bring up all the different icons that are relevant to the top tab. If you’d like to see everything in one go, click on the All Icons tab. You’ll have to scroll down to see everything. Once you’ve found your favourite icon, click on it and it will appear on your label.

How do I pick different quantities?

Most of the popular single packs of labels have quantity options. You'll see these at the bottom of the Label Maker, along with the savings that you'll get. All quantity options are listed in Australian Dollars, but will be converted to a different currency in the shopping cart if you've picked a different currency.

Can I edit my Labels?

Yes  you can change any detail of your label, without having to redo the label. Simply click on the Edit My Labels next to the one that you want to change. You'll then be able to change everything about the label, including the name, colour and icon.
