Preparing Your Bin

Before applying a Wheelie Bin Label to your wheelie bin, make sure to clean the surface of your bin thoroughly with some detergent to remove any residue.

Application Instructions

Quick & Easy Method
Simply peel the label off the backing sheet and slowly apply to your bin. Smooth over with your hand or a soft cloth and hey presto, it’s complete. How easy!

Advanced Method
This way takes a little longer, but will give you the best result.

  1. Get a Spray Bottle and fill it with 1/2 cap of detergent (washing-up liquid) and the rest with water. Shake it to mix it together. NEVER USE JUST WATER.
  2. Carefully peel the Wheelie Bin Label away from the backing sheet.
  3. Spray the entire sticky side with the detergent mix (this will make it wet and allow it to be moved about easily).
  4. Place the Wheelie Bin Label on to your bin. If it goes on wrong, just peel it off and reapply.
  5. Once it's on perfectly, let it sit out in the sun for a good few hours so that the water evaporates. During this time make sure not to touch the label as it may move.
