One thing I struggled with was the long bare wall. I thought about hanging just some fun children's artwork, but since we don't have a lot of floor space, I wanted something functional to go on the walls. I put up the Aqua Doodle, but it did not come close to filling up the wall.

I love that it's a simple peel and stick chalkboard, instead of a bulky heavy one. Takes up much less space and works just as well. The panels were a cinch to put together (although you do have to take your time and be patient if you want everything nice and centered.) They are 100% removable, which is great for me since I'm always changing my mind about where to put things. Once they were up on the wall, my son had a blast with these. They're easy to clean as well - just take a damp cloth, wipe, dry and it's good as new.

Both the wall decals and the letters were super easy to apply. You simply peel and stick them on the wall. My favorite part is that they are 100% removable. So, if you make a mistake or your little one wants to play decorator, you can easily peel them off and move them to a different location. Cow Print Fridge Stickers

My 11 year old daughter helped me put the chalkboard wall graphic up--actually she did most of the application while I stood back and made sure all looked straight and even. This took us all of about 15 minutes. No glue, no nails, no tape, no muss. And it looks fantastic! We put the chalkboard in our playroom/office -- and I could not be happier. The boys actually played with that chalkboard last night so much...I had a hard time getting them to put down their chalk and getting into pajamas. I ordered the Dinosaur Playground. They arrived in a protective large cardboard envelope, so they were in pristine condition when they arrived. There were colorful stickers of bones, dino footprints and a few dinosaurs. I think they are two brontosauruses, a triceratops, T-Rex, two pteradactysl and two stegasauruses. They complemented his green walls PERFECTLY. These wall graphics were stickier and heavier than the Nemo wallies I was familiar with. But I was still able to peel them off and rearrange them until I had it perfect.

Mask It Up

Tip

Here's a little tip thats so simple to do and works a treat! To avoid painting over light switches, or if you're painting a different colour on the walls than the ceiling, use masking tape to cover anything that you don't want painted.

Spending 10 or 15 minutes putting strips of masking tape around doors and light switches, can save hours trying to fix mistakes and allows you to get the job looking great and done in no time.

Chalkboard Panels & Wall Letter Review

Along with the Wall Lettering Kit, I also got to try out the chalk panels. My daughter has become a HUGE fan of drawing with chalk, but it’s been cold the last few weeks, so we can’t go outside. These are perfect for letting her use that chalk inside the house. I finally decided to put these on the side of a cardboard box that we have, making a coloring cube. I absolutely love the bright colors and these dinosaurs are among the cutest I’ve ever seen. The individual stickers peel right off of the paper, and stick easily to the wall – and one thing I immediately noticed is that there is no peeling or curling of the edges, which is a problem I’ve had with other (much cheaper) wall stickers in the past. You can peel them back off either to reposition or remove them, and there was no visible damage to the paint beneath or any other sign that the sticker had been there.

I have discovered Bright Star Kids wall graphics! They make decorating kid's rooms SIMPLE and FUN. I was never really a wallpaper lover and painting gives me nightmares. As we are planning to move house very soon we found Bright Star Kids Wall Graphics the perfect product for us! The Spots and Dots were delivered within three days and were super easy to put up and move around as desired.

We absolutely loved the bright colours and wanted to create something dramatic above Isabella's cot. Our initial idea was to create an explosion of dots from one point on the wall and as it turns out it looks sort of like shooting stars or a shower of meteorites! The beauty of this product is that we get sick of this design we can move it around and even take the spots with us to our next house.

Bella's friends are all very impressed when they see her room! As the walls are neutral in colour, the spots have really helped to brighten up the whole room. Bella loves to stare up and point at the beautiful colours and shapes!

I recently got the opportunity to try out the Under the Sea wall graphics from Bright Star Kids and let me tell you my daughter was super excited. I have a mermaid/underwater/sea life theme going in her room and these wall graphics were the perfect finishing touch. Now I did not get to paint the room blue like I wanted to as we are moving soon, but I let my daughters set it up and I must say it looks cute. And when we get to someplace more permanent then I will make the whole room look like it is underwater.

Dinosaurs Wall Graphic Review

Our wall dots are totally cool! My kids LOVE them! We have the bright cherry and sunflower color combination. My kids cannot wait for us to paint the room so they each have their own "dots" to play with and write notes to themselves. Right now they are sharing a "dot" which I put on their door until we pain the room. The great thing about the chalk dots is that they come with solid (non-chalk) dots too so you can create a really fun design by putting all the dots up individually or overlapping each other or using the solid dots as backgrounds. The possibilities are endless!

Every year when spring time comes around I get an urge to paint. Or at least the urge to get my husband to paint (when he is not fishing). A new addition we added to Madison’s room is some wall letters from Bright Star Kids. It is a great way to give your kids ownership of their space. Here, Madison can read her name, so she thinks it is the coolest thing ever that her name is up on the wall. It took Bill and I about ten minutes on Saturday. That’s it. It seriously could not get any easier than it was. You basically rub the back to make sure that it will stick. You rub the back again and pull the backing off. That’s it! It might not have even taken 10 minutes!

Bright Stars Kids solved the boring wall look for us. I found the chalkboard wall graphics and knew that was just perfect for Peanut’s room. She loves to draw.
