Kids Vinyl Labels

Will I get 40 free Tiny Labels for every name in my order or will they be divided?

What materials are the sticky name labels produced on?
They’re produced on high quality vinyl in a range of colours, which won’t fade in the sun. This material is also waterproof, so it’s safe to use in dishwashers. They are designed with rounded edges that make for longer, more durable stickers.

Can I use my own images?
This is not currently possible as Bright Star Kids have a huge range of icons that have been specially designed for use on the customised labels. There’s such a great variety that we've found that there's one to suit every child.

What will the name labels stick to?
They’ll stick to just about any dry, smooth surface. They’re perfect for labeling anything from schoolbooks to lunch boxes, and from Barbie dolls to bikes and anything else that might go missing.

Are the name labels pre-cut?
Yes. Every single label that leaves Bright Star Kids is individually cut so that it’s easy for you to just peel off and stick to whatever you want.

Will the Funky Feet shoe labels stick to every kind of shoe?
Yes. They stick best to smooth surfaces, and once they’re on they’ll be hard to get off. Extra clear labels come with each pair of Funky Feet, which stick over the name label to give extra protection from wear and tear.

Can I preview my customised label before I purchase?
Yes, you sure can. We have developed an interactive preview on our Web site. To use it all you have to do is pick the label that you want, and press the Create Your Kids Label button. This will bring you to the preview page. Here you simply type in all your details, pick the colour vinyl and the icon you want and it will show you what it looks like. If you’re not happy with anything just play around until you are. You can then save this and continue shopping or head straight to the checkout.

Will the printed label look exactly the same as the preview?
Not always. As Bright Star Kids will individually design each label, the finished label may vary slightly from the preview on the Web site. For example we may place a long name on two lines, so as to allow for a larger font size to be used. Rest assured that every label goes through strict quality controls, to guarantee that every item leaving Bright Star Kids is absolutely perfect.

Kids Iron-On Clothes Labels

What materials are the fabric labels produced on?
They’re produced on a fantastic material that becomes part of the fabric that it's ironed on to. Its soft and smooth so it won't irritate sensitive skin.

Do the iron-on clothes labels work with every fabric?
These clothes labels work best with 100% cotton fabrics, that have a slight texture as this allows the label to grip better. Some fabrics which are smoother, may require a hotter temperature and a longer amount of pressure to be applied.

We recommend that you test out a label on an inconspicuous part of the fabric to ensure that you get the timing and temperature just right. These labels work with most types of fabric.

Are the clothes labels pre-cut?
Yes. Every single label that leaves Bright Star Kids is individually cut so that it’s easy for you to just peel off and iron on to whatever you want.

Will they be safe to use in my washing-machine and tumble dryer?
Yes they're so durable that they'll probably outlast the clothing itself. They can be put through washing-machines and tumble dryers without peeling off as long as they are applied correctly.

If my clothes labels come off in the washing-machine what do I do?
Always make sure that the iron-on labels have merged with the fabric, similar to the images in the Iron-On Instructions page. If any of the label appears not to have stuck, try to increase the heat of your iron and with the special paper still over, press down on the problem area for a few seconds. Repeat until the label looks completely merged with the fabric.

Removable Wall Decor

Will the wall graphics damage my wall?
We use a fantastic material that will not damage your wall when peeled off.  We recommend that walls have at least 2 coats of paint on prior to applying these Wall Graphics, and if you've just painted, the walls will need to dry for 2-3 weeks.

What’s the best type of surface to stick them on?
These Wall Graphics can be stuck to almost any clean, dry and smooth surface. We do not recommend sticking our products to papered walls, as the Wall Graphics may tear the paper when removed.

Will the colours fade?
The colours will last a long time. We recommend that you do not place the stickers in constant direct sunlight, as this may cause some slight premature fading, and also make them less removable.

Are the Wall Graphics individually cut?
Every single character is individually cut so that it’s easy for you to just peel off and stick wherever you want.

If I make a mistake can I move it?
Absolutely. Since we’ve produced these Wall Graphics on a special removable vinyl, you can carefully stick them on and take them off up to around six times. So don’t worry about making mistakes, just relax and have fun.

Are they suitable for young children?
As there are a lot of small pieces in some packs, we recommend that children are supervised at all times when using our products.

Ordering, Shipping & Returns

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We use the airmail postal system. The time for delivery can be as fast as two weeks (e.g. to EUROPE/US), and as slow as four to six weeks, depending on your country's postal system.

How much is delivery in Australia?
It’s free anywhere in Australia, including Tasmania. If you need it delivered in a hurry, we offer an Express Mail Service, which has a fee of $10 AUD for light items, such as labels, and $15 AUD for heavier products, such as Wall Graphics. This service includes dispatch of products on the next working day and postage via Australian Express Post, which guarantees next day delivery to most metropolitan areas. If you live outside of this zone, your order may take up to 2 days to reach you. We only charge for the postage of one item, whichever is the heaviest, so if you buy some labels and some Wall Graphics, the charge will be $15 AUD.

What kind of packaging is used?
For all the smaller items, such as the customised labels, we use C5 envelopes, similar to standard greeting cards. For the large Wall Graphics, we post these in large protective envelopes, so that they will never be damaged by bending or dropping.

Will they fit into a standard letterbox?
The envelopes will fit into a standard letterbox, however the Wall Graphics won’t. If you’re not home when they’re delivered, the postal system will most likely leave a reminder for you to collect it at your local post office. Please refer to your postal system for more details.

What is the return & refund policy?
If you receive an incorrectly spelt customised label from us - where we have made the error - we will reprint the product and post it to you at no cost to you. You may be asked to return the product to us for inspection. We cannot reprint errors that occur from a typing error you may have made over the Internet, through our printed catalogue or if you change your mind.

If you are not satisfied with our Wall Graphics and have not used them, please send them back to us in the original packaging and we will be happy to either send you a replacement or a gift voucher for the amount paid.

I don’t want to give my credit card details over the Internet. How else can I buy your products?
We have printed catalogues that are available, and you can also download a PDF version of it and print it off from home. Just fill in the order form and fax, phone or mail it to us.

How quickly will my order be processed?
Every order that we receive through our on-line ordering process and through fax and phone will have a guaranteed process time of four days or less. Please note that sending it by mail may take a few days and the four days of processing will begin when it is delivered to us.

Will my personal and financial information be kept safe?
Absolutely. We have a very safe and secure system put in place. We will never use your details or send you any publications, through the mail or e-mail, without your prior consent.
