Motion Graphic Designer Position at Bright Star Kids
We’re on the search to find a senior designer who loves to create animated visuals and videos. You've got to have a keen eye for great graphic design with a special focus on colour, typography and layout.
We’re giving one person the incredible opportunity to work from home and join our team as a Motion Graphic Designer.
Why are we hiring?
We have three brands that all require new ad creative to be produced on a weekly basis. We are looking to grow our ads creative team and we want to hire a person who has a strong graphic design and animation background to join our team.
You have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week, with flexible hours depending on your requirements. Depending on your experience our pay rates are very generous.
Please note: You will be working as a consultant for us and will not be directly employed, so you will be responsible for paying your own taxes.
The ideal person will be able to work full-time and have graphic design, animation and video editing experience. You must also be fluent in spoken and written English.
What does this role involve?
You'll join our marketing team, where you'll help to create ads and promotional assets for our social platforms, website and emails.
What you'll be doing:
• Designing layouts for ads and banners
• Researching creative concepts
• Working with photography, illustrations and videos
• Creating animations and transitions to enhance videos
• Exporting videos & keeping files organised
• Ensuring all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Our ideal candidate would tick the following boxes, but we're open to employing someone who is looking to learn as well.
• Experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects & Premiere Pro or similar.
• Has excellent graphic design knowledge, including strong layout, typography & colour theory skills.
• Has the ability to come up with ways to catch the user's attention by using animation.
• Has experience and knowledge of designing for Western brands.
• Has the ability to follow instructions.
• Has fluent written & conversational English.
• Loves to self-learn through reading & watching tutorials.
• Has a quiet space to work from without interruption & fast reliable internet.
• Enjoys goal setting & is driven by feedback.
• Has the ability to work with a growing team & communicate their ideas effectively.
